Mohit, your concerns are very valid but you are barking against the worng tree. The fact remains Lumia 610 is an entry level smartphone and show me a $200 smartphone which offer the features you mentioned. I use Lync mobile app which works fine for me.

A very good review.I Just wanted to know as you mentioned its only micro sim, will the normal sim not work in the Nokia Lumia 610?

Good review dear, but as you will use this phone for some time then you will find how soon this premium look becomes cheap. Its been one month I am using this phone and the metallic bezel covering the device has loosing its shine. So if you are habitual to wear jeans then the looks of this phone will become dull very soon. Another thing about the so called scratch proof Gorilla Glass of this phone. I like to have the screen clean and clear ad habitual to clear the screen by my hanky and shirt. Now after using this phone for 1 month, what I observe on the screen of this phone is SCRATCHES.!!! Scratches on Gorilla Glass… Regarding the stunning 5MP Camera,if you are using flash light for taking pictures then many times you will be disappointed because of dark pictures. It gives better pictures without flash light. you can call this phone as premium phone at first look but it becomes cheap as the time passes. One more thing about this smart phone, No phone can be called as smart phone if it is not allowing you to offer enterprise features like internet calling and VoIP support. This phone also provides it. But if you search in market place, you will not get a single open VoIP client like 3CX phone or Bria phone is available which allows you to get registered with your enterprise VoIP Server (Lync client is there but it works only with Lync Server of MS). Without this freedom you cannot categorize this phone as SMART PHONE. No arguments about its ease of functionality and UI. If you can ignore above things then this phone is very good phone, specially for the people who love to stay connected in social network.

The trouble is that most people compare the 610 with 710 and 800 and pronounce it as garbage since even skype and angry birds don’t work…. To all those people, i would use something like samsung galaxy ace for a couple of days and then use this for a couple of day…. You will then understand how 610 = ‘cheap’ and ‘cheerful’

The 2 GB service doesn’t work !! I have made numerous calls to IDEA customer care who say “We have forwarded your complaint” every time!
