Email Experience on Windows Phone is the best I seen so far:
Yes! I have to say this and I will repeat this even if you put me on gun point. I have tried almost every mobile platform and will still rate the Email experience on Windows Phone as THE BEST out there. May be Blackberry or any other platform might implement a better push mechanism, but at the end what matters is how you get the access of mails on your phone and on that note, nothing feels like beating Windows Phone so far.
I liked BlackBerry mail delivery, loved the Email Widget on Symbian Belle and have around 4 Email IDs configured on my Samsung Galaxy S to use extensively, but if I needed a phone just for emails then I would choose a Windows Phone.
The statement might look like a fanboyish, but trust me, on every other touch platform out there, loading/HTML rendering of mails (even if already downloaded emails) been a slow experience for me so far (except iOS or WebOS). I wasn’t expecting a lot better from Microsoft Windows Phone, but I was totally stunned by its way of handling things. It always felt speedy like an app working over non-internet data. Navigation was intuitive and I loved urgent & unread like categories.
Why not you see yourself that how it works
I already mentioned that you can configure as many as Exchange Account via this (hence push messaging as well), apart from this, as an email client, it can accept meeting requests coming over your office emails, groups emails in conversation mode, brings all the folders from your Gmail account, supports flags and allow multiple selection of emails. Each email ID gets a separate Live Tile which will intimate you of any email. Any more thing you need from your Email client?
Its also interesting to see that how Microsoft kept the Email experience at their natural level means with white background and also the fact that how keyboard changes its color to white from gray for this Email app specially.
If any complaint still remains with this Email client, then that would be no option for downloading attachments (not supported formats) or no option for selecting all the mails at once or a long widgets like calendar or pictures hubs for emails or no Text reflow while reading mails, but all of these might be just an update away. Even if they didn’t then who cares.
